Mooloolaba Triathlon - from the other side of the lens…

The Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival was held last weekend with over 3,000 athletes competing in the main triathlon as well as sideline run and swim events.

In the Elite field, Brad Kahlefeldt stormed home to win the first World Cup title of the 2010 season with local young gun James Seear finishing a close third after leading most of the race.

On a less professional level, it was fun to compete with the other age groups athletes in the Olympic distance race on Sunday. Even if conditions didn’t always live up to expectations of the Sunshine Coast, there was plenty of support out on the course and it was great fun to participate.

I also achieved a new personal best for the course so all in all a good day out!
